Communities of Practice
GeoGebra has a diverse range of communities of practice. From Twitter to Global Conferences and Teacher blogs to Community Forums, there are many places you can turn to for help, ideas and resources. What follows is a mere sampling of the dynamic and collaborative Geogebra community. Have a look and find the right fit for you.
GeoGebra ForumIn the GeoGebra Forums, users can post questions to a broader community at any time. Users post comments and questions to each other and GeoGebra developers also post new features or answer tough questions. Discussions are tagged and archived for search and reference by users at any time.
Discussion threads are first categorized into language, then subdivided into GeoGebra tablet apps, GeoGebra as a stand alone application, 3D view, beginner and more technological questions. GeoGebra on TwitterNew for summer 2015 is the hashtag #ggbchat. This group meets online every other Wednesday evening at 8ET/5PT starting June 4th.

GeoGebra TubeGeoGebra Tube is a searchable database of user-created resources for GeoGebra. Users contribute proven and new lessons, videos, worksheets and activities. Currently GeoGebra Tube is populated with almost ¼ of a million shared materials.
Extra HelpThis is a free book available support users through an introduction to GeoGebra. It covers features, instructions and teaching resources and worksheets.
The GeoGebra manual provides a complete breakdown of all of the GeoGebra components. There are also many ready-made text and video tutorials available. |
Global GatheringsThere are workshops, gatherings and conference held all over the world, throughout the year. These conferences are held as professional development opportunities to support classroom teachers. Attendance cost is quite low ($35), and attendees are encourages to apply to present or submit a poster to share experiences. Currently, there are 3 conferences scheduled for the remainder of 2015.
Workshops are held in small groups and are available in beginning, intermediate and expert level. Workshops are designed to take the user experience to the next level, and upon completion of the workshops, participants receive certifications. |

Initiated that the Canadian Mathematics Education Forum in 2009, the GeoGebra Institute of Canada aims to train and support educators, develop and share resources and to promote research and collaboration of GeoGebra internationally. |
